Feltrim Sports is pleased to announce a partnership with Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and Riddle Sports Group, to host the 2019 AAU Tackle Football League Based National Championship, Dec 10-15.

Feltrim Sports is pleased to announce a partnership with Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and Riddle Sports Group, where Feltrim Sports will host 8U-14U AAU Tackle Football League Based National Championship at Feltrim Sports Village. The games will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019, played by teams located across the nation, where young players will showcase their talent on the field.

Riddle Sports Group and AAU have partnered and are bringing this great event to Feltrim Sports Village. “AAU Football is excited to move our premier national championship to the Feltrim Sports Village. The facility is top-notch and teams from across the nation will be here to participate in a great event this December.” said Keith Noll, AAU National Football Chair.

Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) was founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sports. They have focused their efforts into providing sports programs for all participants of all ages beginning at the grassroots level. 

Terry Riddle, who is the president of Riddle Sports Group, created Riddle Sports Group in 2010 with the goal of providing event opportunities for athletes, coaches, parents, and youth administrators.

”Riddle Sports Group is excited to return for our ninth consecutive year as host of the AAU Tackle Football League Based National Championship. Through our new strategic partnership with Feltrim Sports, competing teams will be hosted at the world-class Balmoral Resort Florida with eight final teams having the opportunity to compete at the on-site championship stadium. Partnerships such as those with the AAU and Feltrim Sports allow us to consistently provide young athletes with amazing opportunities for championship events.” said Riddle.

ABOUT FELTRIM SPORTS

Phase I of the Feltrim Sports Village is an all-turf soccer and football stadium, with a seating capacity of 2,500 spectators. The Sports Village is home to turf practice fields that are adjacent to the stadium, 10 sand volleyball courts, mini-golf course, and a fieldhouse with four collegiate locker rooms.

Phase II of Feltrim Sports includes Feltrim Sports Arena. The 70,000 sq. ft. arena included a championship court with spectator seating capacity of 2,500, 4 basketball & volleyball practice courts, an e-sports center, hospitality suites, sports performance center, and more.

The Feltrim School, in Phase III, rounds out the multi-year development. A 9-12 state-of-the-art high school that will open in the fall of 2021 that focuses on technology, sports, and career workforce.
