Marion wins 2005 AAU Miami Valley Youth Football Championships
Seven 12U football teams converged on the campus of Ohio’s Central State University on November 5 and 6 to compete for the top prize of the 2005 AAU Miami Valley Youth Football Championships.  Teams competed in two divisions with the top two teams of each division squaring off in a 3rd/4th consolation game and 1st/2nd championship games.  Big Walnut and Miami Valley battled a close game with Big Walnut finishing on top for 3rd place.  In the championship game, Marion took control early and never let up going on to take the top prize, with division winner Jamestown taking 2nd.
